        And 2010 Begins

Name the person in this extreme close-up. I'll post the full size photo once he is named.

As always, the driver, relatives, and teammates are ineligible to participate.

The driver has been identified -- only scroll down to the next post if you've given up and want to know the answer...

            For once

            Johnny,

For once you don't win on your first guess. At least I don't think you do. I'm going by the name on the side of the boat and my memory, either of which could be wrong.

But as a hint, YOU WERE THERE. And I have the photos to prove it...

                Uh-oh

Uh-oh. You may have it after all. Since I couldn't pick out either driver in a line-up the odds are in your favor. What is Tori Chew's number in JH? Checking other photos...

                  Logically

                  1) The guy in the photo below appears three frames before the "Grant Hearn" boat.
                  2) The guy in the photo below raced AXSH at Lock Haven, PA in 2009
                  3) Grant Hearn did not race AXSH at Lock Haven, PA in 2009
                  4) Therefore the boat three frames later cannot be Grant Hearn.

                  Johnny,

How silly of me to doubt you. You must be right. I must be wrong. Unless someone else can prove differently, the driver in the close-up is Tori Chew. The full photo will follow shortly.

                  One again, you're the man...

Match the Person to the Boat

Match the Person to the Boat

This is a teaser for my next post that I'm working on now. The challenge will be to match the person to their boat. The hook will be that not every person shown will be the driver of the boat, but perhaps a crew member. Or maybe they just stepped in to help. Or perhaps the boat shown is not the driver's usual ride. You'll have to figure out the connection. Stay tuned...

                      Here's an easy example:

                              The Final Twelve

I'm working on 12 photo matches, which is really 11 since I've already given one answer. I could go to 18 easily but beyond 18 they would get bizarre without giving hints...

ADDED: In the photo below, driver was ok. He went to shore in the rescue boat, but was at the ramp to retrieve his boat by the time we got it there.
