Ouch. We like our new wood. Also glad we have Pat taking great photos like this. Best part of the weekend for me was pulling the rope again after 19 months.

The 17-R (and if you look closely, the 61-R, its sister ship) are both designed and built by Bill Blackwell. Beautiful craftsmanship and a very nice design.

Bill's A hydros have been very successful, and he's only built two of this generation of C/20 boats. Word is that he's lofting up a D boat as well.

Like Bill likes to say: "Fast boats, built slow."

43-R: Not in this folder. That's David Williams' (aka "the Tall David Williams") number, one of our new J/AXS drivers, and he wasn't there.

Are you sure you have the right number? Hydro or Runabout?

R-35: Lee Tietze's Revolution 250 CCH. Similar to the one Denny Paola is selling, I believe.

X: Another Revolution, 350CCH. Bill Diamond's boat. Looked good for 3/4's of a lap before he had a little mishap (he's ok).

222-R: Correctomundo, a JDS DSH. Craig Fjarlie's former ride, now in the hands of Bill Dingman. He got his first 1st this weekend, and yes he went swimming

Yep, we got some lookers out here......
