These pics were taken just after a brief rain shower. The ducks decided to race for the start finish line. As you can see, there were a couple of jumpers,, and then one really late for the start! Thanks to everyone who participated this weekend, all the volunteers and wonderful friends. See all of you in a few short weeks,,, Whitney Point here we come!

Thanks Dan, let me know how to post it that way and I will be glad to do it that way. Just wanted to send Congrats to first time winners this weekend.
Ryan Wheeling, Ian Duggan and Trora's own Koolaide man
        RICK WAGNER SR!

To those who missed this race, plan on it next year, it is an awesome race course, beautiful water, the community is behind us 110%. So much that we have a meeting Aug 13 for next year's race planning. With great emphasis on the music near the pits.

One more attachment, Jerry Brewster christening his new ride. A Brewster Built one. It is fast,,, look out .. Jerry is working his way back!

Thank you for all the racers that attended, we will see most of you soon.

          Great time!

Wow, this event was really alot of fun. The pits were great, the water was as good as any and the atmosphere was second to none. Rock bands, beer garden, vendors(including a appearance from Racing Outboards), motorcycle stunts, fireworks, ferris wheel & tons of spectators really made this event a blast.

The Grand Prix was loads of fun and the crowd loved it.

Thanks to Rick Wagner Sr. and Jr., Jesse Ward, Jeff Brewster and the rest who really put their nose to the grind to pull this together in such a short time frame. Having only had a few months to put this together, they did a phenomenal job.
2009 should be even better as plans for the event will begin lathe this summer.

With the level of support and enthusiasm we received from the local communities and services, you can't afford to miss this in 2009.

          Thanks again!

            Great Weekend Event.............

Nice to visit the home of the Merc Challange from days past. Thanks to the ole TRORA crew for a great race. The 37 bands that played, the street croch rocket display and the fireworks show were all top shelf entertainment that made for a complete blast all weekend.

Watching the American Idol finialists perform on stage was also a nice touch!

            Later

I would like to thank the club for allowing me in the pits Sunday to check this form of racing out. I have always been intrigued by boat racing and the stock catagory looks very appealing as a potential newcomer. I have been reading everything I can get my hands on and will be in the market for a CSH. Thanks again for your hospitality and I look forward to wearing a green arm band in the near future!

                Awesome Time...........

will be even better with more race crews to party with next time. Thank You so much for an awesome race weekend.........Brewsters,Wagners,Holts,Spensers, Wards and everyone else involved! The food and beverages were flying all weekend, everytime I turned around someone was offering something, free food (full meals too), their special # 1 beverage etc. Also, the racing was put on in good, safe fashion with many good close races. Water and course were excellent all weekend,Great job guys. Yea, the water got a little rough on Sunday afternoon, after that front came through but you can't beat these people, they still gave me a Brewster so I could pull out a win in ASR, Thanks Justin and Dana!
                See you all soon!

wish the rest of racecraft could be there but we were tring to spread the team so racecraft could support both races.

we as a team hope threerivers gets with region 7 on the dates, because next year the races need to on differ weekends, that is a must.

we had free breakfest you had ferriswheel.other than that were about the same.
just some thought for next year.

                    see yal at ny.

You are right on about next year. Moving the race date is already the topic of discussion. And is 99% sure to happen. The Rock the Docks Festival Inc. committee wanted a race this year to coincide with a festival. We looked at the tentative schedule in January and chose the 19th and 20th as the best date. We had a commitment from them at this time but we were waiting for news on sponsorship money before we let the word out about the race. Unfortunately we were in motion when region 7 released the news about their race.
