My fathers been a life long Republican, but hasn't voted Republican since 2000 because of King George.He is a WW2 Navy veteran.

It baffles me why people are mad about the outcome of the election, the Republicans had their chance and mucked it up real bad.

I followed Chi Chi Rodriguez one day at a Senior PGA Golf Event in Atlanta. He pointed to a bunch of people watching the tournament from their pontoon boats and said "Look all those good republicans. I use to be a Democrat that is until I earned my fortune; now I am card carrying Republican".

Be prepared for several years of smoke and mirrors!!!

The Republicans have not done a great job, but they have attempted to do what they laid-out (B for effort and C/C- for results). But I have no idea what the Dem's have in store my 100 - 120 an hour a week family of 2, but I am guessing that I will have less $$'s for boat racing and my wife may have to walk 18 holes instead of taking a golf cart.

OK, we can deal with that. But I worry about the direction of our internal security and I worry how all those extra tax dollars will be spent to purchase future votes and not to improve the future of our country and our citizens.

Alot of you guys blame the problems in the country on the Republicans and Democrats when in fact it is YOU who are the problem. Remeber...... "We the People" are the government...... If our country is messed up it is because we are messed up, including me. You can't run a country from the cockpit of a hydro. Nothing wrong with boat racing, but if you have never sat down with your elected officails, bought a plane ticket to washington, got involved, held your politicians feet to the fire, but you spend $1000's and time racing, you ARE the problem in America.

We are all less then perfect but not messed up. We just did hold their feet to the fire. It was called the voting booth on Tuesday. Now we are going to try another set of less than perfect politicians.
