Jeff...............thanks for all your hard work over the last 6 years as Chairman. Keeping the SORC in line is no easy task......especially that Big Don character.......)

I am no longer an APBA member and definitely not a lawyer but in reading the instructions for changing a lot of the rules it says to remove all words in capital letters. It that was followed explicitly the word "SORC" would be removed. I realize SORC is not a word listed in the dictionary but in many minds it could. In the future it may be wise to think a little deeper into how people not involved in the process read what is provided.

One problem that we all face is removing things from our life that is no longer pertinent. We don't notice it, because it's always been there, others new to the scene would call it clutter. Standing back, we see it's no longer used, but oh, it's so hard to remove and dump in the trash. Howie went to LA to get rid of the rules that no longer used, how did he do?

He did very well Doc and the first four proposals above were some of his work.

I explained privately to speedliner my distaste for his message but I should share some of my answer with all, even though I am amazed I have to.

Jeff, I see that now you have taken to the public forum with a disparaging remark about my simple constructive suggestion that I based upon years of writing and amending numerous Codes, Ordinances, Requirements and Rules I have found it best to not let there be any grey areas that can be open for different interpretations. I was not trying to be a wise guy, a word pirate or to criticize the author just trying to be helpful. As they say no good deed goes unpunished. Have a nice day.
