Stock Outboard pickle fork rule update

The SORC has voted to return to the 2012 racing season picklefork rule for the rest of the 2013 season. The adoption of the Mod & Pro rule has been delayed until November 1, 2013 to allow our members to have more time to comply with the new rule.
I intend to have our online rules and inspection manual updated and current by the weekend and will make an announcement when complete.

The J category has made no changes regarding the effective date of this rule as of this morning.

BOD Rules...........

The J Cataglories minutes have yet to be approved by the BOD which include both the Pickle Radius issue and MORE importantly the HYDROTUCK rule implimentation.

Getting j Class rule changes approved is a much different process since the J Classes are run directly by the BOD through a appointed committee that Buddy Tennell presides over.

The BOD usually has a conference call a couple weeks after the National Meeting to approve 'housekeeping' matters and emergency changes. Our local BOD rep indicated last weekend that the CALL has yet to be scheduled. To say the J Committe has done this or that is speculation and only finalized after the big BOD post annual meeting phone conference call which include approval of the J Class minutes from Texas.....

Like many other J families hulls, ours is sitting on the horses waiting to hear from the BOD and Chairman Tennell...........we have the chainsaw handy!!!
