  • Race recaps and results

I would like to thank all the clubs and organizations who always make sure pre-race publicity as well as a race recap is forwarded to the APBA web site News page. ( news@apba-racing.com ). With thousands of global visitors reading the "News" page every month, this is a great way to help publicize these events to boat-loving people who may not be aware of all the particular forms of boat racing.

Exposing the sport to people who are not yet members of the boat racing world is a great way for clubs to bring in potential participants.

Between May 27th and June 3rd, a total of 13 APBA events will be held throughout the country. Unfortunately, on average, less than 1/3rd of these will send race results and other information to the APBA website for publishing and promotion.

This season, please be sure to ask your race committee to foward a few short paragraphs of pre-race publicity prior to the event. Once the race is over, ask that a copy of race results, along with a short report, be sent to the APBA site to published. Without your help, we will be missing out on a big part of the exposure available to us.

Remember - this publicity and race promotion is totally FREE. You don't even need to spend a postage stamp!

    E-mail your information to news@apba-racing.com

We promise to post your results ASAP, and look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes for a fun and safe racing season.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to give kudo's to the Pavlicks for their hard work on pre-race publicity and promotions for the June 10/11 Rochelle, IL race:

Championship Stock and Modified outboard boat racing returns to Rochelle IL

Excellent work, guys! VERY nice job on the article

This well done article was sent to a local newspaper for publishing, and was posted to the APBA NEWS page too:

I just noticed that I am still being shown as Moderator of this forum. My position was ended by APBA back in 2008. If you could please remove me as moderator, I would appreciate it. It was a real joy working with you all.

        Val,
Correct me if I am wrong here but 2 members have told me that the gentelman who is in charge of Propeller requires any new's with in 48 hours.

I know some members have been put off by this and have not sent any info in.

        Thanks, Carl
