Cascade park is a CITY PARK which is patrolled by the local Police department. If you are caught with a beverage or evidence of any you can get fined and a free hotel for the night. Yes, that is the crow bar hotel. So bring lots of coffee mugs/containers....if you know what I mean....

      Mike,
You could do it this way:
Run 250 with SE/FE stepped up.
Then run 350 with the 250's.

This will give two rides and the club more revenue, AND then we can have a 250 and a 350 national champion.

Great Idea, however it looks as if we already have 10 FE Hydro's registered. So that idea is out at this point. If we get enough 250 and 350 we will split them.

I was going through all the pre entry and roll calls last night, we are going to have several full fields, maybe even elims in a few.

It's going to be a barn burner!

p.s. Connie almost the entire park is sold out....

            Hey Tom,

Long time to talk, Hope all is well....

Yes the Crow Bar hotel is Tony's Premier HOST Hotel. The people of Moses Lake are all real nice people, doubt they will keep Mike B for any longer than needed. Like until the next available flight......

                great job jon

we've done this before a few years in a row, the establishment is very easy to work with, very family oriented, the kids have a great time bowling, and video games, actually a lot of adults have been known to have a good time in the bowling alley as well, and don't forget the casino, all in the same building, along with some good food in the restaraunt. again jon great job, should be a good event. kevin

                  Possible 250/350ccH split thoughts

                  Mike,

It would be great to have a dedicated 250ccH heat at this year's AOF Nats, even if it's only one heat (assuming there are at least four 250 ccH boats available to run.)

I don't believe any West Coast racing club has had a 250-only pro hydro heat since the early 1990's or late 1980's (there has not been a dedicated, 250 pro hydro heat to my knowledge since I started outboard racing 13 years ago with APBA/SOA.) This would be a great event for me to participate in since this is my last season in pro hydros. However it comes out at the race site, I plan on having some fun!

                          AOF " A" class...........

how will the AOF "A" class be ran? I read that the AOF "A"'s are resticted Yamato 80's versus the APBA OMC A/Merc 15.

                                Darren,
                                Where did you read that?
The AOF restricted Y80 is run in the Novice class, which is for anyone who wants to go slow, from 9-99 years of age. It is a non competitive class and is used for kids, old guys who want to race again, or letting spectators, etc have a chance.
The APBA A stock class is basically our "O" class. At the time that Phillip DiFebo introduced the A class into AOF, APBA said we couldn't use the letter "A". We were all kind of dumb and crazy back then. We called it "O" for outboard or something. Rules are pretty much the same as APBA's.

Did you get your rulebook yet? I can email you one. Takes a few minutes. I only have dial up here on the farm but it does the job, just slow like me.
