The race Rocked! I'm way to sun burn't and tired to report anything right now.

Had a great time, hope you hydro guys and gals liked our final inboard heat. That was hard on my nails! Great time was had by us geographically challenged pit area Inboards who were 'over the hill'. Launch ramp was fine after the modification. Sorry, we have our share of 'whiners'. Doesnt everybody? Now when is Waits?

Newport Race Hospitality - Thank You Note

Many thanks to all of you in AOF and SLORA that hosted and supported the Newport race last weekend! Thank you especially for the excellent food and real friendly help to get the pro boats off the beach (and up and down the steep boat ramps -- the water was very low this year.) The long drive is worth the trip to race with a well=balanced stock/mod/pro/nostalgic dragboat program that allows you up to three heats per day to run. If only we lived closer to each other... See you at Moses Lake next month. Race fast and safe.
