  • Flanders NY June 25

Eastern Outboard Racing presents Flanders number ONE.
Great racing and the BEST time ever with the great members of EORC.
    Hope you can all attend.
From AOF Office: The EORC members do a great job of promoting other club races. Please check their schedule and plan to "pay them back" by attending some of their fun summer races. Why not make it Flanders, Number One!

Flanders--Take the LIE to Exit 71 (Route 24 or Nugent Drive). Take Nugent Drive East going towards Riverhead. Continue on Nugent Drive and continue around the traffic circle onto Route 24 (Flanders Road). Continue on Flanders Road past Route 105. On the left hand side will be a sign for the Flanders Men's Club. Turn left onto that road for the Flanders Men's Club. Go straight to the Flanders Men's Club building and you will see the boat racers.

    EORC Flanders Race

Don't miss this site. Great course and usually protected from the afternoon
prevailing SW winds. Site of the '77 & '78 NY State Pro & Stock Championships.

Now stuck in the desert and missing the action.

      Correction

June 25th Will Be North Sea, Long Island. Not Flanders. This will be the first race of the season for EORC. Hoping for a good turnout, so get your stuff ready and come have fun.

Next Month July 15 & 16th will be Flanders, Long Island. The site for the AOF East Coast Championships. Many things in the works, Drivers Party etc. More info to follow.

Any questions call Erik Petersen 516-312-8735

Here are Directions to North Sea,

Take Route 27 (Sunrise Highway East) (over the Shinnecock Canal towards Southampton), continue on Route 27 Extension (also called County Road 39) past Southampton College. At the traffic light (there is a left turning lane), turn onto Sandy Hollow Road (County Road 52). Sandy Hollow Road turns into North Sea Road. Follow North Sea Road to the traffic light. Turn left at the traffic light continuing on North Sea Road. Follow North Sea Road to the first right hand turn after Noyack Road. Look for Boat Race sign on corner and follow the road until you see the boat racers in the parking lot. Turn is before the Conscience Point National Wildlife Refuge.

Thank you Eric for the correction. We either have to fire me or Howard Pickerell. One of us got itplace wrong. (Apparantly both of us!) That is what you get for working with old people. Well, both are still Island Races. That is cool to say.
Have a great race. Weather looks good.
