Russ you mean the new flag changes are the same as APBA which make it easier for race who race both AOF and APBA under the same set of flags dennis westby ( I thought I heard someone whistle )

      Good plan, same flags . . .

The AOF yellow caution flag was okay, but attempting to use a black flag as an emergency stop racing signal was useless. Most race venues have a vegitation background and black flags are next to immpossible to see.

I refereed several east coast AOF races and we used the yellow caution but agreed to use a red flag to signal a stop racing emergency. I think the only driver that beefed was AOF purist R.C. Hawie, but he got over it

        Dennis,

You are correct. This was passed at the national meeting last fall. The flags in AOF are the same as APBA's flags.
