    FYI-

the Stock, Mod, J, OSY races at Rochelle, IL and DePue are sanctioned by the APBA with AOF listed as co-host.

Plus I'v been working with Dan from the NBRA to try and work something out with them as well.

      Mod & Stock

The USTS is working, and they don't really have all the bickering going on about change, so I meant mainly for Mod & stock.

Bill Pav, GREAT !!! I hope it works out. It would be very cool to see memberships accepted from any of the three bod's at all races. One big happy family.

        Dave,
In theory, it would be nice to accept each organizations' cards at all of the races. In reality, where do you think organizations get their operating money? MEMBERSHIPS! There is a good chance that if the fantasy world that you state existed, that most racers would lean toward the cheapest organization and not even join the others.
Sooner or later two would die.
I really think that each org has something to offer. Just think, 4 years ago, no one was talking from the 3 organizations. Now we can have races together. And don't think that was easy. If only you knew what hoops and concessions had to be made to pull off Jesup, GA last year. Pineville was even worse.
AOF for instance, joined APBA for the 'rights" to points, etc. Hey, whatever it takes.
And now, once we have begun talking, then maybe we can be more open to other points of veiw. Each has thier strong points that should be examined. APBA has tradition and respect; NBRA has an agressive cut down of classes; and AOF, I hope, can always be the one to stay non profit with the $500 race so that new and old races can be cultivated when the APBA and NBRA options are too expensive.
Personally, I believe we have come a long way. Unfortunately, this is not the only probem facing our sport. We've got a lot more hurdles to jump.
