Its looking pretty dim for me right now since I can't anyone to haul my boat out of St. Paul Minn this time of year. If I can get my boat down in time count me in for ASH.

Thanks Marc, how safe do think it is ? does the boat have to be put in a crate or something ? $$$$$$ ?

Yes, someone will have to build a basic 2 x 4 frame box, put the boat inside the frame box and then skin the outside of the frame with 1/4" lauan or 3/8" exterior plywood to keep it light. Put some doubled up 2 x 4's on the bottom of the framed box so a fork lift can lift it.

Fred Tyson can probably tell you the best way to crate and pack it though, he also can tell you best way to list the shipment so you don't get ripped off on shipping charges.

Four boats to be built by March, pics of the construction coming in January. I am back building boats again for the Stock, Mod and Pro divisions.

My company is MJR Composites and I will have a new website coming soon. I also will still be selling plans, as well as being a dealer for Lee Tietze's awesome hardware.

No, but two or three of them will be at the first U.S.Title Series race at Inverness, Florida., and so will I!

Ride for Dan

Dan, Tony is having computer problems, but asked me to pass on this:
He has a ride for you. Don't worry about a boat or engine.
He is in the process of gathering up all of his A equipment that he has loaned out while on sick leave. He said not to worry, he will have something for you to drive. Just come on down. He can even put you up in his Dad's living room.
Said his stuff might not be as good as what you are used to, but it is driveable.
No worry, this site is so georgeous that winning or being competitive is second to us northerners who get to enjoy the sun, good water, good company and a lot of racers who are there for one thing: to enjoy!!!
This is a very laid back race site. It is also good for people who just want to test, (in a race situation). No one gets too serious, and with the restrictions about testing all over, including this lake, it is just a good place to be.

Unfortunately we are not coming. If we were we would buzz right on up to Steve's and get the boat for you. I haven't seen his twins for toooo long. and after all,l we went all the way to Washington to pick up a boat for Rex Hall. Just can't make it do to other plans. I haven't had a chance to call around, usually some of the Wisconsin guys come down sometime in the winter. Maybe they are all snowed in like we are.
Tony said to give him a call at 561-644-1200.
We'll get that boat there for you someway but don't know when.
