Well, we have the first page of the Highlands Outboard Association web site
published on a temporary site. In the very near future we will be adding more pages to the site. We hope to keep the site updated regularly with club news.

Rookie Class

In an attempt to have a LOW COST class for kids, Highlands Outboard Association will be running a Special Event class this season. We hope to have one on display in January, and race them in February.

Here is the preliminary structure for the Rookie class.....
Boat will be built from the 8' Mini-Most plans available on-line.
Motor will be Briggs & Stratton 5 HP with stock tower and prop.
Age will be 6-11 years old.

The boat materials cost around $100
A new motor averages $700

We will be finalizing the rules for this class in the very near future.
