The AOF Office will be posting the ballot change items here one at a time over the next few weeks so that you can think about them and discuss them before you mail back.

First on Ballot:
25xs Hydro Drivers Only

Proposal: Allow new style Hot Rod gear foot to be used on 25xs Mercury with no modifications to tower or gear foot

Rational: Availability, no speed advantage

Proposal: Allow aftermarket parts on the 25xs Mercury as listed

Tower – Tad Olsen
Adapter & Tuner Pipe – Dave Young, Doug Pearsall
16:21 Gears – Racing Outboards LLC.
Shafts – Ron Thomas
Ignition Components – Rapair INC.
Decals – Ron Collins, Dick Duncan

Rational: To allow a complete new motor to be available

Proposal: Allow remanufactured recoil housings on 25xs

Rational: Stock housings are weak and new Mercury housing need to be modified to fit motor

Proposal: Allow IKO Bearings to be used in 25xs lower units

Rational: Legalize bearings currently being used

Proposal: Only the factory Mercury stator to factory specification be allowed on 25xs

Rational: some reconditioned stators have been altered to improve acceleration
