Newport is a go!! The water is dropping fast and from pictures and waterflow charts conditions should be good by race time

If somebody needs it they will usually have a half an hour.

Its all good, We will be heading out about 4 "Montana" time Thursday. The club van and all the fuel tanks are topped off. Ouch!! The coffee pot is loaded for the ones that party to much. We won't have the ambulance to wake you all up this time.

The weather is perfect. What else could you ask for besides some close racing. The geriatric Y-80 class was a hoot with the senior citizens puttin on a racing clinic for the youngsters. I think 1st,2nd,and 3rd were within 5 feet at the finish.

Not wanting to be negative or the bearer of bad news but the weather has changed slightly, and the river is still high, and moving 5-6 miles per hour. Rumor has it, a stock boat on a dolly wont fit between the bank and the water line

Mid 70's are good after the 90's we have been having. Mother nature is not going to be nice to us this year so I guess we have to just deal with it.
