If you notice in my avatar I am kneeling in a brand new Lowrey 4-point with my Grandpa Andy Lowrey looking on. I probably picked up the scraps and swept up the sawdust when Kathleen's boat was being built. As a kid I wanted to be at Grandpa's boat shop as much as possible. Great to see that picture and thanks for posting it. I knew that Grandpa's boats were popular in the Midwest but I never knew any of them made it all the way to the great Northwest. If you have any other pictures of a Lowrey hydro and you have the time to post them I would sure like to see them.

and if memory serves me right , even our small local club raced 12-16 times a year. i remember traveling, and sleeping under the station wagon, or van alot
