Bill Bracken Memorial Back On

Guys great news! We are going to Honor Mr. Bill Bracken at the Mod Nationals at Rainbow City, I am very Honored to be a part of this.; Shane Herbert worked way to hard to put this together for it to go to the way side.

Here is a preview of the art work for the t shirts. What an Awsome Job!
And yes the combined Stock and Mod will be at Rainbow City next year. So all my rowdy friends are coming over!

Mr Bill Bracken deserves great recognition for his dedicated work in boat racing. He was involved in all types of boat racing, from Novice outboards to the Champ Boats, and he was always modest in his efforts. Some of you may know that there was an event scheduled in Pineville, LA, but it was canceled by the Mayor due to Construction work in front of the lake. I had no idea how we would be able to honor Mr Bill, but as always, things seem to work out. A few weeks later, Jeff Carter contacted me about honoring Mr Bill at the APBA Mod Nationals, I have to say that I was touched sincerely. This is a man that has built his life around boat racing and he deserves the recognition. Thanks, Jeff, for looking out for the founders of our sport!

On the Positive Side

Howie Nichols is the Referee for the Mod Nationals. If you have ever been to a race that he has been referee then you will know what kind of show he runs. I have told Howie that he, He is in Charge. There wont be any conflicts of heats between Mod nor Stock. The reason for the stock classes at the Mod Nationals is to give drivers that have both to be able to run more and to have fun. Thats what it is all about.

Kyle thats funny coming from seattle, Wa. Didnt relize that part of the country even new what wet dry was. Good news, you have your wish. Greensport marina is in a wet county! Looking forward to seeing you.
