Is there any place near Wakefield we can buy race gas in new 5 gallon cans. Like VP C12 something the Hotrods can live on?

Your Hotrod should be able to run on 87 octane. I wouldn't run anything else in mine!

There used to be a place in Hurley that sold race fuel at the pump, I can't remember the name of the station but it was near the Silver Dollar.

Lucky you. My old Hot Rods liked 90+ octane. Compression check before every racing season = 195 psi. cc check 13.5. Then the APBA made my heads illegal, the old kind with multi-part head catchers. Bummer. My engine Honked!
