yaaa i sucked there hehehehe, throttle broke first heat and muffed start,,, led 1.5 laps second heat untill passed by the new us1... way to go guys,,,,.... wasnt even going to race 2nd heat until rick bird and and steve bork made me fix broken throttle and helped me get out there,,, as we where on a 3min delay as per rules for me and palmquist since he decided to go for a swim...,,,great meeting all the other 850 guys there and others i havent seen in years,,, was fun and a education,,, iam glad to know ime not to far off since coming back after 8 years off....... one thing i would like to note and will be following up on is the most stupidist rule to date ,,, my opinion,,, after seeing the accidents there the kevlar/fiberglass covering on the new boats ie sidewalls,,, my opinion and others i talked to that what messed up akers hip and all... was a "sardeen" in a can!! instead of going threw the side wall as we have in other laydowns this rule needs to be dropped,,,, it sucks,,, just me being honest,,,,,,cheyney

Cheyney ran a strong 2nd in 2nd heat, but he was passed by Anthony Powell.

The carbon fiber sides helped Scott Clark when he got T-boned in CSH 1st turn second heat, barely broke thru the combing wall and hurt his thigh, he managed to keep going and finish 3rd but afterwards he was limping bad. Might have been a lot worse it it had only been plywood, but who knows.

                    No 104 Plus MPH ?

As far as kevlar, you will lose that battle too. Funny, that is a safety rule as well that never got voted on, same as mirrors. Good luck. Funny how rules never get questioned until it seems personal.

Thanks for the updates guys, as I have been out of the loop for a few days.

Hey Dave M, where did you finish?

Can we get a complete 1st-through finish?

Mike, I received a DNS this time. Or is it a DNG ? At any rate, I was not there, I am sure you noticed that. At any rate, it really does not matter if I was there or not.

Did not mean to offend you. Was asking a simple question. I honestly have been out of the loop since last Friday, and FE ran on Saturday.

Mike the results I found in other posts were 1st place Anthony Powell, 2nd John Steen and 3rd Rick Keller. Hope this helps.

Thanks Mike. I did see that, but I was trying to find the complete standings of who actually ran, etc

I don't know why I care, was just curious
