Although I'm not looking foward to next years California coast to coast trip, I did have a blast driving to Moses Lake with the Runne's in 07. At least this year is only half as far as last year for you Westerners... Any rigs have this beat? 9 boats, 12 motors, 30 gals of race fuel, ALL the inspection stuff, 5 flats, and one Ryan Runne!

What a fun adventure you all are having! I am soooo jealous, if only I didn't have to work for a living. Well next year we will be heading to Oroville! Drive safe and sane (on the road at least).

Welcome to hydroracer, we hope you enjoy your visit.

810 miles today, but still in South Dakota

After 12 hours of driving, we stopped for the night in Chamberlin South Dakota. Only 849 to go until we are at Grass Lake. Played tag with the Rucker trailer for part of the day....

Don't know if we can beat that this year Greg, but were pretty close last year to NY! (9 boats, 10 motors, God know how much 3.99$ fuel)....but we can't duplicate a Ryan Runne! just a Kyle (squared)!

Dan- i think driver's meeting is 5pm...registration is probably that early monday morning lol

                My journey

I am taking a slightly circuitous route to Grass Lake. Seattle, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Detroit, Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago, Urbana, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Grass Lake. That should but me in the running for most miles at least See ya'll at 7AM Monday!

Gleason/Bahl/Hannon left Tacoma this AM at about 6:30. Right now we are 56 miles west of Butte, MT.The Ford Excretion is running like a champ and all is smooth sailing here.
