Fred came out of turn 1 where the wind would start to pick up for the backstretch, lifted a little and looks like he got'r settled down, that was when a small but gradual lift opened up his nose for a gust, lifted him past 90 degrees when the back finally caught up and touched the water slamming him down on the water. Talked to him after the incident and he says while he was waiting for the boat to hit the water, "We'll i wonder when this is gonna be over, *hums*." LOL

Any boat damage? any Fred damage? looked pretty intact from the pictures for a slam that hard.How much wind? water didn't look to bad.

I know the day it happens is probable for all of us but I do not look foreward to finding out what it's like for myself. This is my first year and I came pretty close at PORT Neches TX. rolling mine over but didn't

I am going to try and make it over to run with you guys a time or two this next year.

The water was fine, but it was gusting pretty good, I would say the gusts were 15-20.

A different way to keep an eye on the rest of the field.I'll be ok,the boat can be fixed,Kevin and the team were there quick.At the end of the back straight caught a big gust of wind and blew-over.I strongly suggest everyone where some kind of neck support made a big difference!!! Heres a picture on the way down.

I am concentrating fully on the 120 in 2008. However, me or my dad will bring the 45 out to race at some events.
