The 2016 Eastern Stock Outboard WinterNationals have been awarded to Jesup, GA by the SORC.

Race dates are April 22,23,24, 2016 Testing is being planned for Thursday April 21.


On a side note there is not going to be an Oct 2015 event in Jesup.

Has anybody stayed at the Hotel jesup,in Jesup GA. Only room I could find in Jesup, nearest room I could find is in Hinesville. Anybody else know of any rooms in Jesup for the winternats.. Thanks Hot Rod Todd 69-Z

Call Mel............he got us 4 rooms at the Red Roof Inn in Jesup and has the phone numbers of the host hotel. Also you may want to call the Carolina Inn in Loris, SC to get a room for Tabor City in May. Just saying.

Red Roof screwed a couple of us 2 years ago. Confirmation means nothing to them.

This spring race seems to always match up to the maintenance shutdowns at the local paper mills which bring in mechanical service techs from all over... Hotels are TIGHT for sure, and the local businesses & restaurants are busy.
