  • Spring Jesup, GA 2015 Results

Thank you to all that came to the event. Cold temps and windy conditions made for a difficult start but in the end great water and temps allowed everything to get run off. Thank you again to everyone that helped make the event happen.

3 Days of Racing were run over the weekend. Unfortunately with the weather the 2nd & 3rd days were reduced to 1 heat each with the majority of the heats run off on Sunday. Several brand new drivers made their debut, and several made long trips. Everyone was welcomed and appreciated!

HOWIE, had a great time at jessup. you guys did a great job. we all appreciate all your time and effort you guys put in to have a local event. i think we were all disappointed in the boat count. in most classes. i can only comment on the pro s . i know that there are more pro boats in our lower regions then showed up. but you know we had only 2 125s that showed ,but putting the c mods with the 125 s worked out just great. it was a good show with both . also running the mods with the 250s worked out also they put on one hell of a race .pretty even in both classes . i think that if it was agreeable with every one we could do it again with those classes. and maybe combine some other classes to put on a good show also. we would like to see local races come back to region 5 at other locations. maybe even get some money for everyone also . including stocks . mods, and pros. i know you mentioned that what ever you bring you will run. can not beat that. again just want to give thanks for the club for a good time . and i know from talking to you that you thank every one that supported this event. we will try our best to support local races .i can remember Kay Harrison saying a long time ago that with out local events , all we are going to have is the nationals some day . and if we do not support local events that statement could come true . may if we get that older motor out of mouth balls , this would be the way to support local races . having not to use our good pro equipment except for title series and nationals ect. just a thought. the la roses # 3 and #33

Thanks to all who worked hard to put on a great race - I must say the warm temps really sucked the life out of me . Sunday was more like home with the breeze in the AM. The new Fabbro 25XSR boat worked out great.- I dont know who was more surprised Me ! or Nooch !!!! And when Jack got to run Carsons AXR boat he even had time for a quick turn 2 swim. We had a great get away from the snow and the 24 hr drive each way really makes the Tabor City trip next month seem like a quick trip. Think Region 1 for your next get away======= Shawn

Again thanks to everyone for the boost, tough weekend but we made it. Looks like just over 50 boats - lets see if we can double that for June!
