Yes it will be a 1 mile course 3 laps. They tell me we will run first thing in the morning to give us the best water.

The current sanction does not have the JH, AXR, & ASR classes listed as approved for records, this was an oversight and an email has been sent (today) to correct this. Stay tuned and plan the trip, it should not be an issue!

The Record COurse has been approved. All Officials have been approved on our side. The sanction is pending while waiting for the approval of the Inboard Inspector.

I will have to ask about testing, my guess is probably not but I will find out for sure.

Howie, That is the same date as the Winter Nationals at Bakersfield.

Bill that is correct. CA hosted a race last year the same weekend as the summer nationals (I believe), there is something in one of the rule books that allows a race to be conducted outside of the geographical area of the nationals. The other thing is J classes do not have a WinterNationals so Bakersfield is just a regular race for them.
