Jesup GA cancelled

We have had to cancel our Region 5 fall race at Jesup GA due to low water. They are still experiencing a drought there, the lake was full for about a month this summer, but no rain now. Since it is in the middle of farm country and the farmers irrigate so much it has lowered the water table and unless they get a lot of rain the lake will not stay full. The streams that feed the lake are dry.
Region 4 has come to the rescue and they plan to put on a race at Tabor City NC Oct. 19-20.

Sorry to hear this news, Jesup is a favorite of many. Thanks to Tabor for stepping up to the plate again.
