Checked the back end and don't see anything wrong with the your account, the site is functioning as it should. You will have to define what "went crazy" is. Is the problem still occuring and exactly what are you seeing when it "goes crazy". Unfortunately, "crazy" is a pretty generic term and doesn't set me on a path into discovery of the problem, sorry. - Teresa

All vBulletin boards require you to acknowledge an email change with a response to a server sent email. Until you respond, you are bumped back to pending approval status.

        Its completely normal.

A Security patch was required by V-Bulletin and was run on 12/26. You will need to clear your "cookies" and browsing history if you continue to have problems. Then log on again being sure to check the remember me box.

                  Me too

Yup, that has been happening to me for a few months. I click the remember me box and it does not, I have to log in every time.

                  Thanks,

Ok folks I am sorry that you are experiencing this log on issue however; this is not a host or software problem.

This is my suggestion. (It assumes that you are all using Internet Explorer.)

Go to Tools (within internet explorer it can be found eitherin the top menu bar, or the little "cog" item right above the main display window); select "Delete Browsing History" from the drop down box, within the next menu box select "Delete All". This will delete all the browsing history, temporary files and cookies that have been stored on your computer, resetting it to the default settings.

After doing this it is recommended that you restart your computer.

After that you should only have to log in once, if you remember to check the remember me box YOUR computer will store a "cookie" that will have all the information at hand so you shouldn't have to log on each time.

As a side note, I have four computers three of which are running different operating systems (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7), and I am using three different versions of Internet Explorer (6,7 & 9) and three different internet service providers (2 dsl and 1 wireless). I am not having any trouble with any of my machines.

Must be a PC thing, I am having no problems at all

I am a PC with no problem, but I do think you might be right Sam, it is a PC thing. Seems the security patch randomizes the cookie process somehow on 3.8.4P2, perhaps the Mac's can handle it better.

                              All,

If I might chime in here for second both Teresa and Sam are 100% correct, the remember me function has absolutely nothing to do with HydroRacer.Net or the software HR uses.

The remember me function is the responsibility of your web browser! let me repeat it for those who are just a little bit slow in the PC field. It is the web browser that preforms the function of remembering passowrds, user names etc. not the web site.

My personal opinion of Internet Explorer cannot be posted here or Teresa would ban me life. Update your browsers, clear the cache, clear the cookies etc. When was the last time you did a complete over haul of your PC ? un-like us Mac user Windows tends to become a complete dog after a few years bloated with so much junk its amazing your PC even starts up.

Is your PC a family based PC used by multiple user? if this is the case good luck on getting your browser to remember anything!

Without rambling on you should get my point, take a minute and asses your own PC, when was the last time you ran a Virus check etc.. If you want a Windows based PC to run flawlesy its going to take some work on your end.

Teresa is doing a great job keeping HR running lean and clean, so first do a complete inventory of your own PC then report back if you are still having problems.

Oh and trash IE and start using Firefox! or the Safari OS for Windows.
