  • Latest update-mod winter nationals 2010

As many of you already know Peace River Club is unable to have the Mod WN in Jesup GA. The reason is the State is draining the Lake to kill some weeds that are growing and depleting the water of oxygen. It is a spring fed lake and they project the lake will not be back to racing level till June.
After a lot of calling and work we have been unable to find a suitable place in FL or GA to hold the 2010 MW. So it looks like they will be in Rainbow City AL on the same date April 16-18, 2010 if it is approved by the Mod Commission. Jeff Carter form AL will be heading this up. This is a great site and plenty big enough for a large National event. It is a privately owned lake and Jeff has already been over and talked to the owner about this. This will be a great lake to bring back to life for boatracing plus it is a more central location for a lot of people. We will all need help with this event as the club in AL is very small. Mark this on your calendar now and plan your vacation at this time.

Raced at Rainbow City 98 for AOF nationals. Super race site, Brutal hot in the summer. I remember the sound of Steve Dunns 6 Cylinder.
