  • CSH Will Run At Chattahoochee June 6-7

CSH will run at Chattahoochee on June 6-7!

I have mailed the check today to the organizers to have the sanction updated. So we are a go!

They are excited to have us and hope to include us next season as well if we turn out this year.

The course is on a river and a new format for us. We will have short OPC style course with a flag or lemans start. (Similar to how they race in Europe.)

We have six boats so far:

    1) Phil Fronce
    2) Ken Rhodes
    3) Chip Chapman
    4) John Sherlock
    5) Zach Tonello
    6) Doug McAlarney

Please respond on this thread if you will show and run at Chattahoochee, FL.

    Thanks!

Doug, thanks for putting this together and thanks to the OPC folks for letting us participate. We need all the venues we can get.

I hope all the region 5 CSH drivers take advantage of this opportunity.

It is great you guys are coming. Chattahoochee is always a fun race. If you can get to the course late Friday afternoon to check in register and get inspected that would be great. The City also puts on a cook out for us Friday evening at about 6:OO. Come hungry!

Like Bruce said it's great that CSH is on the schedule. Just be ready for a wild ride if the currant is heavy. For those of you that have never raced on a river with a currant, it's a very differant condition. We should have time for testing.

        Again, Thanks for supporting Chattahoochee.

            CSH Drivers Wanted

Anymore CSH drivers to add to the list? If we have a decent showing it could open up more venues for us.

                  Directions

                  Chip,

Go to the APBA web site and see the sanction, directions are given there. The short description is: I-10 to exit 166, north to Hwy 90, west to entrance to the park.

                  Glad you can make it.

                          Chip,

I'm not sure there is a road name for the park entrance, I did a mapquest and a google earth satelite veiw to get my bearings by locating the Hardees restaurant. Once you make the left turn onto Hwy 90 (Veterans Memorial Highway) the park entrance is not very far on the left side of the road. Hope this helps, I've never been there maybe Doug can shed more light.

After you make the left at Hardees you just continue to the river.....
