    For the whiney people ...

    The Sanction says the following;

    1. Divisionals will be run before any other class will be run.

    2. Any classes with less than 7 entries will be subject to combination and/or 1 heat. MOD Category will get the required 2 heat format during the Divisional Races.

    This means that the SO/MOD/J races will be run "BEFORE" any PRO's see the water so do not complain that the PRO's are on the schedule. This is a boat race and the PRO's are race boats too they are very welcome at this event!

    Item # 2 - Says "SUBJECT TO" - this means it is a possibility that classes COULD BE combined not that they WILL BE combined nor is it a guarantee that only 1 heat will be run. It is posted on the sanction as an option for the race committee in the event it needs to be done.

    So stop the complaining and whining, the sanction hasn't even been out for 12 hours yet!

    Show up and race, be happy that someone else is doing an event for you to play with your toys and you haven't had to put hours into this event prior to even getting there.

    For those who aren't complaining Thank you, See you all in a few weeks.

      I for one know how much work and dedication that these races take and I very much appreciate You, Bob, and Peanut working so hard! we get a lot of racers to this race every year because not only is it a dynamite course but the races are very well organized. Thank you.

        Steve,
        Thanks for the Kudos, it is appreciated and makes it worth while to know people appreciate the work being done. You have done a tremendous job yourself in pulling off this event in the past.

        Now if only a certain few would get on board with these thoughts

          Well said Howie, I love to see the Pro's run an OPC too.If you need any help let my wife Jane know, she will be more than glad to help. She has even done partrol boat duty at Jesup. Years ago at a race in TN. they made her a turn judge, she threw out a driver for chopping in the first three heats After the race the Ref. told her she was the best turn judge he had ever seen. H e said a driver will not throw out anybody because it might be them in the next heat.
