May 2nd Pre-entry deadline

Currently 109 entries have been sent in, see an above post to make sure I have you listed.

Remember May 2nd is the deadline for a discount and 8 boats are needed in SO to pre-qualify for Grass Lake.

CSH is the only class over 8 to date, ASH, 20SSH, & CSR are close.

Fuel?

What's the fuel situation for Jesup? Any local pump gas that's passable? I don't really want to be driving all over Hillsborough or Pasco counties trying to buy av gas or some other non-additive fuel. I checked with the VP Racing Fuels sales rep in Ft. Lauderdale regarding the purchase of VP MS93. None of their local (in my area of Tampa Bay) distributors carry MS93. Although the Ft. Lauderdale headquarters would gladly send me any quantity (min 5 gal.) for a $75 frieght charge attached.

Any suggestions?

If you still need a room for the Jesup race and are having problems finding one, check the new Comfort Inn in Blackshear, Ga. It's about the same distance from the lake as Jesup. Phone is 912.807.7829. They still had rooms available this morning.
