I see "new race sites" is on the agenda. I am going to get with Bruce Washburn about a potential race site up here in the Ocala area. He told me if I came up with a site, that he would help "guide" me through the process, etc. I think it would be a great site to do an SO/OPC type race like was put on in Avon Park in September 2007. The lake up here is a little bigger than that one.

Do you want me to send you the details too for consideration by SFORC? I was thinking maybe a Septemberish race for 2009.

New Site

I would be interested in seeing the information just out of my own curiosity since it is so close to me. It certainly can be presented to the SFO members for consideration.

The SO/OPC race at Frostproof this year was a great time.

Isn't Jan 11th one of the days that AOF was hosting a race in Lake Placid???

Steve, there are 4 clubs in Region 5;

SFO hosts Ocoee
Central Florida hosts Lakeland
Florida Outboard hosts Chattahoochee
Peace River hosts all the rest
