Brian,

I think Tom may have used the wrong type of wood when building my boat which led to the contraction of the wood used for the cockpit when the wood was exposed to water. Now the cockpit is smaller and I just don't fit into the boat the same as when it was new.

Doug I HEARD OF THAT COCKPIT SRINKAGE BEFORE I heard if take the boat on and off the trailer 5 times every moring the moisture of the early air is more dense and will sewell the wood back to like new it may take some time
