Hopefully it will be a big race, we are inviting all stock, mod, pro, opc, slt and j. We will have a live band in the pits Fri night and a Fireworks display Fri night all by the city of Frostproof!!! So it should be a lot of fun!!! Sign up on this thread and let us know you are coming!!!
I'm coming from Texas to run SST45 and I know that Jose Jr. is coming to run 45 from Miami but I need a event schedule. I need time of drivers meeting, how many heats ect. Sounds like alot of classes to run in 2 days and I don't want to drive down to run 6 laps if you know what I mean. I don't even mind calling for the info if someone would just post a name and # for me to call.

      Thanks, Tim

The race is listed on the APBA calendar, but the sanction is not yet viewable because it hasn`t yet been approved. Hopefully it`ll be approved real soon so Tim can get the info he`s asking about.

Question: Will overnight camping be allowed at the race site?

            Laps

Here's the laps for OPC, we won't have all that many classes as the boat count if Region 5 is down and a lot of people are traveling to cooler climates in the summer.

stock, mod, pro, j, 3 laps of an approx. 1 mile course. NOT approved for records. OPC 2-6 lap heats on Fri, 1-12 lap heat on Sat

            Registration Fri 7/04 - in Pits - 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Sat. 7/05 - in Pits - 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

            Drivers Meeting Immediately following registration.

We will be able to start early both days since it's not Sun.

1 mile for the 45 boats too? How many pin turns? I mean, same coarse for everyone or 1 or 2 pins for the opc boats?

Cool! I was just thinking how difficult a 5 pin turn is in a 45 boat!

                  Can't wait, see everyone there!

Sorry guys, we have been out of town. We are going to setup 2 courses, one for OPC and one for Stock-Mod-PRO-SLT, like at Lakeland this year.
                        Walter, I'll call you today
                        We will be there with:
                        2-20ssH
                        2-ASH
                        1-JH
                        1-JR
                        2- OSY
                        1-CSH, maybe 2
                        1-ASR
                        Thanks, Peanut

I only have one more question and then I'll hush and come race. How much are the entry fees at the race going to be?

                          Thanks guys, Tim

We are bringing (2) CSH and (2) DMH if anybody else is going to race Mod. How about it Alan Whiteside?? Mike Lee?? They said we could run open pipes so we need to take advantage of it.
