    Hunt's Race Equipment

Hunt's boat and trailer are currently at my house in Annandale, Virginia. I will bring it to Wilson, NC in 2 weeks and Craig Murden (lives in Wilmington, NC) will take it from Wilson, NC back to Wilmington, NC. Craig will store it at his home as long as Hunt and Hilary need it stored.

Thank you to everyone who called and volunteered to help get Hunt's trailer back to Wilmington.

This was sent in late last night from Jill Glossner:

      Latest on Hunt Leavitt

Just got home from meeting with Hunt's lovely wife Hilary and two of his brothers to give her his car. Hunt will be in the hospital for quite some time and needs everyone's prayers. At this point he is in the trauma intensive care unit of Cooper Hospital, 1 Cooper Place, Camden, NJ 08103. At this time, he is under heavy sedation as he has several broken bones, (ribs, jaw, vertebrae) 2 collapsed lungs and a 30 stitch cut under his mouth. Yes, he was wearing a full face helmet. The racers at Millville passed a helmet around and collected over $1200.00 which I gave to Hilary tonight to help with expenses while she is in NJ. Anyone wishing to contribute may send it to me at: Jill Glossner, 13 Washington Way, Tabernacle, NJ 08088 and I will see Hilary gets it. The Leavitt family thanks all of you for your generosity and has promised to keep us updated.

I wish for the best on a speedy recovery for Hunt. Hunt is one that alway's is there to help others and just a great guy all around. I remember several years back when I had an accident at Quincy and while I was being hauled away Hunt helped with packing up my trailer and gave me great support. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

            Hunt's Trailer

            Janet,
John and I can take Hunt's trailer back to Wilmington if you can get it to Wilson. It can stay at our house also. Let me know what's up.

              Get Well Soon

Hunt is a great guy. I met him when Ralph DeSilva was building him C runabouts modeled after my ASRs that Jack Corner designed. Great guy with great character. I hope to see him in good health soon. Ed Hearn.
