      Hi Howie
At Sharptown in 2005, we had 4 J Hydros, one of which was Valerie Dagostino and she doesn't run J anymore. We had 4 in AXSH one of which was Val and she won't be at Sharptown this year.

Sharptown 2004, we had 4 J Hydros and 5 AXSH

Let me know if you need any other info for Region 4

Thanks for the input everyone. I may have a first timer there as well, if all the pieces get here and we can get to the lake for some testing time. 1000 miles is a long way to go if no one was to show up. I appreciate your support of the race and will try and make it if all goes well.

Howie...Your daughter is going to start racing? I saw her at Lake Wales and got to talk to her a bit and she seemed to love the sport! We could sure use a few more j drivers down here in Region 5! I know next year we are supposed to have a few new drivers...

                Joel Kiddy's little brother (Andrew?)
                Justin Pinner
Wally Schlipf's little sister may if she likes it (she'll be hooked)
There's more, I just can't think of the names at the minute.

But next year we should have a good field of them! We should have Wendy Eldredge, (Andrew) Kiddy, Joel Kiddy may continue racing J, Justin Pinner, Wally's sister maybe, Wendy Nicholson's brother, and Miss Nichols?

I would like to know, however, where some of the drivers I've heard about in Region 5 racing the class have been. I know Sbra Mihdjlovic raced at the Ocoee Winter Nationals and Lake Alfred in 2004 I believe, but I haven't heard from/of him since! There are a few others, but I haven't seen really anybody! This year in Region 5, the turnout for JSH's hasn't been very good. I have had to ask some of the veteran J drivers still under the age of 15 if they could step up and race, and luckely we've usually been able to put on a pretty decent show! I would really like to see more attendance from some of the younger drivers in the area! Come out and play! We don't bite...too hard!

I know of a few future drivers that should start racing soon...or sometime in the future:
                Sam Tennell
Stacy McDermott (I will be far from the class by then!!! )
                Mckenzie Hellsten
(There's more, but I've been studying for exams all night, and my brain isn't exactly working right now.)

I hope some J drivers step up to the test and come out to the races! In all Regions; If you have a kid 9-15, get them the gear, and take them to your local lake! It's worth a try! Or take them to a race and see if you can let them test a boat to see (how much) if they like it. Or if you know of someone that might like to race, give them a boat ride! What will it hurt? We need more drivers here! The kids are the future of our beloved sport, and we can start saving and helping it grow now! So let's do it!

Here's another if you need him

I would be glad to put AJ in a JH if needed. Of course we'll have to take the motor off to lessen his weight..... Got A Paddle ??????
This is his last year he can run J because of his age....But if his cousin is coming he can sqeeze into that class just one more time....If you need him to so she'll get some points.

Also Alex shipped the parts 2 days ago.....

See Ya soon brother.... (I HOPE)
