Special Event at Wilson- Tag Team Race!

Here is the format: Drivers from two classes will be paired into teams. Drivers for Class 1 will begin the race with a jetty start from the beach. Class 1 will make 3 laps and pull off the course. The driver from Class 1 would then be required to get out of their boats and tag hands with their teammate in Class 2, and then that driver would be permitted to make a start from the beach and complete 3 laps. Entries will be $20.00 per driver and the collected entries fees will be the prize money for the winning team. That's right, cash money prize! Classes for the special event will be determined based on interest. Who wants to run the tag team race? So far, it look like there is interest in ASH & CSR. Adam & Kelly, Jesse & Abby. Who else is in? Brother/sister team Shawn and Kaitlyn? Father/son team JT and Johnny? Any drivers from other classes interested? We could do 2 classes on Saturday and 2 classes on Sunday.

Hey everybody jimmy warren here I am in need of a j loaner motor for this weekend for my daughter, we are picking up the boat at Wilson and it's race ready for a mercury. The pre-registration and the 50/50 raffle were definitely a coincidence. The special event, not so much. We worked hard to win it. Thanks for doing a great job announcing. It was a great event for all of the participants as well as the spectators. Hope we can do it again next year!

I would like to thank all the cvra club for a great weekend of racing, Jesse Swain did a great job Refereeing and keeping things going fast. Also like to give a big thanks to Gary Pond, Howie Nichols and there crew for all the help they gave my daughter Maddy to get her going fast on the water. What a weekend to remember!
