There will be a chicken dinner in the pits on Saturday night. Please let me know how many tickets you would like for you and your family, as I would like to have a head count for this one week prior to the race. You can let me know by replying to this thread, or emailing me at abbylp4@gmail.com.

Preregistration!!!

Ok, here are the simple instructions for preregistration by e-mail.

Step 1: Click on the attatchment at the bottom to open the entry blank.

Step 2: Fill in the blanks on the entry blank by typing your info in each box and save (1 entry blank per class).

Step 3: Click here aimiep19@verizon.net to open an e-mail message to me. Attach your saved entry blank to the message, make sure your name appears in the message and click send.

I really can't make it any easier for you than this. Please try and get them in a soon as possible! Thanks, Sam/Fred, Earl, and Lisa/AJ for sending yours already!

I will also be available in the pits sometime in the late afternoon/early evening to take money, swipe cards, and get signatures.

Mel plans to make the 11 hour trip from South Carolina!!..........Way to go Mel.

I am acting Race Director. As Abby stated we need help transporting the equipment trailer from my house in Bowie and the safety boat from Millersville to the race site. I brought the trailer from Taber City to my house and have to trailer my race trailer and therefore need help with the club trailer.

Anyone in the area that can be of help let me or Abby know.

PS................The Quality Inn in Seaford, DL seems to have the best rate and location. It is $89 per night with AAA. 302-629-6385. 13 miles from the race site on Route 13.

For persons interested in getting a hotel room at the Quality Inn- please call by tomorrow (6/17) to get the reduced rate. Just mention my name or the boat race.

Also, we are still looking for volunteers to help with towing the club trailer from Bowie, MD, and the safety boat from Millersville, MD. Does anyone live close by that can help out, or know of someone close that can help out?
