    Tabor City..................

80 degrees and sun, perfect water, lots of boats. What's not to like!!

All our CVRA crew and our adopted workhorse Howie Nichols from SSOA did it again. With only a week rest we pulled off another major event with no problem! Also thanks to Gary Romburg who's grandson is now racing with us. Gary is on the APBA Historical Society Board and helped get our grant processed to assist us in getting our new safety boat on the water!!!!! Now he has to teach his Grandson that u-turns at the starting line is not a cool thing here in the South!!

Now Dunn can sleep for a few weeks!!..........

Maybe Nicki and Tom will post some pics soon........

    Team Mel
ps......Aimie Pond said she will post names in lieu of the numbers this week after she gets the scoring paperwork out to APBA.

      boat count

      Matt,

Curious...how many entries did you guys have down there?

      We had 75-80 at Delaware.

Anyone here the total from Millville?

Millville had 62 or 63 boats all weekend. Great conditions every year!

Was your 75-80 enteries per day????????

At Tabor i believe the WEEKEND (both days) enteries were at 120. Aimie Pond is putting it all together now but we had a good turnout considering we raced at the same site less than 2 weeks apart.

I heard you guys had some tuff weather and water.........but i assume Aimie and Jim put on a nice party!!

              We had 75-80 Saturday.

Probably around 70 Sunday. 4-6 boat fields in everything. 18 classes Saturday, 15 Sunday.

Yes, weather was tough. Mid afternoon storm Saturday cost us an hour.

Then mist and rain all day Sunday.

Water was great except for Friday test day.

Yep...party at Sweeney's was top notch once again. Everyone had a great time over the weekend.

              D.

From memory....these should be fairly close. the 21F, 90F, 79F all come from the Sawyer camp with Reuhling, Foulds, and Dunlap sharing the driving I believe but not sure which one was one in which boat.

                  Thanks!

Thank you sooo much Howie for adding the names up there. When I posted the original results, I was doing it sneakily at work, so I couldn't be on Hydroracer for too long.

We had a total of about 120 entries for the weekend (both days). This means we met our goal to break even at this race, and maybe even come out slightly ahead. This will go towards the cost of the sanctions for our upcoming races.

Again, thanks to everyone for coming out, signing up, and putting on a good safe race!

Continually cutting it this close to the margin shows why we need to bite the bullet and increase entry fees.

If we don't do it soon, it will be too late.
