She-who-must-be-obeyed has given me permission to attend Lock Haven.......reservations have been made and the broken thrust bracket is getting fixed.
I also wanted to mention the huge contribution Mr. Paul Price made to the J Boat kids at the Hampton Cup Regatta this past weekend. He brought down the J Boat Project boats, set them all up, and helped families race them throughout the three day event. On top of that, he went around with all us newbies and helped us check & set the motor height and angle on all our motors.
Mr. J.T. Bried helped me identify and correct a bad o-ring on the racing foot on my son’s motor……then he replaced the gear lube for me. I’m sure we would’ve smoke the lower unit had he not helped us.
I've never been involved in a competition where the other teams goes out of their way to help you be more competitive.
It’s nice to see the competition end at the checkered flag.
