I would like to do both races, but cannot do both unless Wilson is reset for a later date. May would be great (except for May 10, got a daughter graduating from Clemson - my youngest will be off my payroll !).

When booking your room tell them you are with the boat races for that price. The hotel is about 7 miles away from the race site.There is also a campground 1/2 mile away Yogi Bear campground(877)668-8586 www.taborcityjellystone.com More motels 19 miles away in Whiteville NC.If you have any questions you can call Steve Dunn @ (843)455-1393.

Anyone going to the stock or mod National races that are planning to attend Tabor City race can leave their trailers at Steve Dunns house.(room for 50 trailers or more).30 minutes from race site in Conway SC.

April 12/13 is Tabor City, NC DMH/DMR North American's

April 26/27 is Millville, NJ

May 3/4 is Wilson, NC - SO / J Divisionals for Southeast


We will make Tabor City, possible Wilson unless the sponsor makes us goto Texas with the 120 rig.

Can I assume all stock classes will be run at Tabor City?

Tabor City Race

Thanks to Steve Dunn for his effort towards this race. I too agree that any race in North or South Carolina will be great. I think the area has much to offer and many racer's can make a mid-atlantic location. Please keep this on the agenda.. I will be glad to help with anythiong I can.

I just got off the phone with the Microtel in Wilson (252-234-0444) and got the same rate as they gave us last year! The normal rate went up to $69 but if you ask for Wayne and tell him you are with the boat race they will discount it to $54 for Friday – Sunday night.

I would attend races anywhere in North or South Carolina. Hat's off to Steve Dunn for his effort in putting this together. Wilmington NC has a good base of racers and nearby race site would only enhance the sport.Let's make sure it happens..........

I turned 57 last Sunday. I might be too old for this race promoting business,but I ain't scared. A little nervous but not scared! I know its a little early,but if you or anyone you know are planning to attend please sign in and state what class,classes you plan to run. The lake owner has already asked for another race in the fall. Get this one (DUNN), then we'll talk.
