  • Great Season, Good Job!

Well, the season is over for us hear in Region 3, and what a great season it was. Great job to all those Region 3er's(which includes our adopted Region 4 drivers) who raced so well and showed what it means to be a true champion.

Thank You to all those who helped at each event to make everything run so smoothly. Thanks to Jill and Scott Glossner for communicating with Hunt Leavitt's family during that most crucial time after his accident, and helping SO much at each race. Thank you to Stacy Runne for taking the reigns of Chief scorer at our last 2 Millville racing. Thank you to the entire Jennings family for there unbelievable efforts in helping at every race! Thank you to Sheri Runne for selling APBA merchandise at every brace ALL day and for taking up our J issue hear in NJ. Thank you Rich Runne for everything you do, including all your incites in helping me direct the Millville's. Thank you to Mike Delisa for helping with the storage and upkeep of the new rescue boat and letting me use your C Runabout. Thank You to Kevin Stupp and Ken Ploucher for there unmeasurable help at the Millville race and there assistance in storing and upkeep of the Rescue 3 and Club trailer. Thank you to Troy Gladkowski for organizing and running a great 20SSH series that will be adjusted and continued next year stretching into nieghboring regions. Thank you to our inspectors this year, Don Hearsh, Jeff Williams, and Ed Runne. Thank You to all our referees this year, Shawn Briesacher, Scott Glossner, Shannon Bowman, Dave Augustine, Ian Augustine and anyone else I might of missed. Thank you to all the members of D.V.O.R.A for helping at every race. Thank you to Greg Lyons for risk managing and throwing my wife on the ground, don't worry the race was officially over. Most of all, Thank You to my beautiful wife for putting up with my crap.

Thank you to all those who attended the races from near and far, far away places. Looking ahead to next year and adding our Summer Millville and the new race of White Haven, PA to the schedule, D.V.O.R.A will be hosting 6 races next year, and each of them will be top notch events. The dates of which will be released in the near future.

          Thank You

Always a pleasure to travel to Region 3. Great racing, great people and always a great time. Good luck on the J driver issue, my letter is in the mail. Once you get that resolved your next task should be to get an overpass built over Connecticut so we could travel in a timely manner to your races. 10.5 hours to go 400 miles Sunday nite after Millville!!

You should try the burbs around Washington DC. Lemme see, 10.5 hours to do 400 miles, that's close to 40mph average! Three times in the year before I fled Car Jam City (DC) I spent more'n an hour to do 10 miles!

I assume you're talking about the bleeeeeeeeep-up on I-84 in Waterbury?
(for those who don't know, 84 is undergoing a huge transformation in Waterbury, costing the state hundreds of MILLIONS. Except the contractor messed up just about everything and most, if not all, of it has to be redone. Traffic nightmare - light years worse than it was before the work.)

I've gotten stuck for hours in that mess heading to my parents' house - and yet they still wonder why I only go there once a year

                  Matt,

You should be commended for all of your efforts this season. GREAT JOB!

This guy drove to Millville, got us up and running, and returned home to work without even racing on Saturday. Now that’s a team player.

                  To All of Our Scorers,

                  Simply Amazing!

These folks work 8 hours a day on their weekends so we can have fun.

You didn't look like you were having much fun running around in the back??

It was nice that you brought Heather, maybe it was the thought of fatherhood that slowed you down

Thanks again for the hard work on the Pond Cup Series. We all can use the $$$$$ to fix up our wrecked boats from Sunday at Millville.

                    Matt D.

Not sure what C hydro race you were watching. I remember being on the scales Saturday. It's good to see AJ still has 3 on you

Anyway, thanks to all the 20 drivers for supporting the series and for keeping us around late Sunday. Results to follow.

                          20ssh action...................

The 20ssh feature was run dead last on sunday and a full field of boats was rapidly cut down to i believe 4 boats once all the carnage and burned up motors were sorted out...............nobody was hurt beyond a few cuts and bruises.

Just another day at Millville!! Can't wait till spring!

Thank you all for coming to our races and supporting DVORA. My hat is off to all those who help and spend many hours sitting on the judgestand, setting up the race course, etc. and organizing the race so we can all come and have a good time. It is always very exciting when the first race of season comes and it is always a relief when the last one arrives. Hope you all have a wonderful winter and get your honey do list done before next season. I know Rich has already started his.
