Trailers are able to park in the grass at the far end of the pits (closest to the dam). No campers are allowed on the grass.
We need everyone to make a concerted effort to only take as much space as you need. If there are issues with trailer space, we will start moving trailers so that all trailers can be accommodated. Cars should be parked along the side of the road, outside of the pit area.
Bill you are correct, and Matt you are partially correct as well. Doug's number was 727 representing the 727 aircraft he piloted. His equipment was indeed always first class. Clyde Higgins, an auto body man from Rhode Island purchased it from Doug and being frugal chose 27D so there would be less to paint.....
WE ARE 9 DAYS OUT FROM RACE DAY AT THE LOCK . HOPEFULLY THER ENTRIES ARE COMING IN. MAKE SURE YOU VISIT THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN THE AREA AT THE VILLAGE TAVERN
i picked up some legal moonshine in myrtle beach while on vacation there. 105 proof for the clear stuff, real smooth..... also have apple pie, peach and blackberry too. I'll bring them along. the liquor store that sold it only sold the moonshine and from 1-6 in the afternoon they had moonshine tasting..... it tasted the same on Monday, tue, wed thur and Friday
are you coming this year? i'll be up by the bathrooms. the store said they put 105 proof on the jars but they said it was more like 130. bring a glass cup, not sure if it will eat thru plastic
