  • Haverhill River Run - Offical Roll Call

We will be using this thread to post updated information leading up to the big event. The Crescent Yacht Club is putting the finishing touches on preparing the site and local radio and newspaper features will be out this week.

We plan on running 24 heats each day and the plan is to have everyone packed and on the road by 4PM Sunday. It is a tight river course that will challenge the driver so it would be best to bring your "A" game. We will kick off the weekend with the Northeast Marathon Divisional Championships on Saturday at 11:30AM. The 28.26 mile course will take you under three bridges as you travel through the City.

We have capped entry fees to encourage you to run as many classes as you dare. We will also present $50 gas cards to all out of Region tow vehicles if you run both days. Prizes will consist of merchandise, trophies or cash at the drivers option. See APBA SAnction #10912.

We will continue to post daily updates .........Let us know who is coming.

Bringing one Marathon DSR renamed "Unfinished Business". Our goal is to finish, third year is a charm.

Will also have a trailer full of loaner boats. Can't beat the entry fee.

                Jsr

Thanks for the heads-up Shawn. It's odd that they have AXR but not JSR. I'll just leave those boats at home.

We had 5 ASR's last year. Maybe one of those drivers can let us know what last years consumption was and add 50% to it for this year.

This year the route is an exact 28.26 miles. Previous year we were approximating the distance and were probably in the 18-20 range. If Manny used two gallons on old course I would allow for 3+. CSR and DSR should probably figure on 4.5+.

Additional comments welcomed on your experience.
