Well it appears that the old man syndrome has finally caught up with me I’m going in tomorrow for a mild hernia repair tuck it back up put a mesh in place and close it up. I should be back home tomorrow night if all goes well.

HR will be on auto pilot so behave Dont ask me to help lift any boats at the worlds unless its for Yvonne

Luck. I hope all goes well, had my first one done (the old fashioned stitch it up way) my rookie year in 1985, (against doctors orders I raced, and got my first first 12 days after the operation). My second one, with the mesh, was done about 1996, either way, lay off the crunches for a couple days

You get a hernia and then what do you do..? ya go and buy an FE hydro !!! Have you lifted one of those monster FE/SE motors Dan...? Mine just about kills me every time !

Hey Jeff I am old ex OPC racer, the motor will have an electric starter and I will never take the motor off the transom back it in hit the button and go its the lazy man's version plus its a laydown

good luck. had a double hernia repaired last Oct. Took 45 minutes and was feeling good in about a week. Watch lifting!!

I had two of them and the surgery isnt that bad.Its outpatient and you will be fine.Just watch what you lift for the first 2 months.Good luck its not that bad.

From one ancient to another: I predict it will be the best thing you've had done...you'll not believe how much better you'll feel (even healing up after the surgery) than you did before.

The day after is a female dog on wheels, but the overall mesh fix is the best thing since roller bearings on a crankshaft!
