If case you haven't figured it ZUL8TR is from my 300ZX & a site name on TwinTurbo.net. I do remember the Craig's. Jeff Hutchens had one in 25ssh and I was able to outrun him if I nailed the start. Other Fla. top runners in 25ssh: Fred Townson, Bunky Bowerman, Dave Rawson, Marshall Eldridge Jr, John Schutzenhoffer, David Sass, Steve DiNickelantino. Won Region 5 25ssh Hi Points in 1975. Based on this was going to go to the Nationals but other issues got in the way. My rig was homemade Hal Kelly Wetback, it would run about 63mph set for competition. Here is a shot:

I also ran the Y80 on this boat.
When I first built it in 1970 the only engine available was a 35 horse Evenrude fishing engine, Ug! Used to water ski off it. I believe it ran about 40mph w/o the skier.
The 70's was a good era for racing. 25ssh was very popular and most races there were eliminations of 25 + boats.
