I have been kicking around the idea of getting back into boat racing. However, my life jacket and cut suit seem to have shrunk over the years. So I am in the market for a new jacket and suit. Is there any value in the old jacket and suit I have? The suit I have was purchased new in 1997. The jacket was purchased new in 1989 and it was reapproved in 97'.
Could you please send me pricing for a new legal jacket and suit?
Also, do you think my old 80's DSH equipment would be competitive? I spoke to Larry Darneille and he said to be competitve you need to be going 80-81 mph? I remember if I saw 78-79 it was a really good day. Have things changed that much??
