Need you help\answer about the specifics on the Sidewinder rules. As far as I can tell, by the rules in the book and the propeller, I can run it at the divisionals for no points as a probationary, if I win nobody qualifies. I can run it at the nationals, run the elims, run the finals if I qualify, and be entitled to run the finals. If, by some act of GOD, I win, I get the trophy, 1-US ( as it is a prize and still given to the winner) but not the points. Is this the way it will be treated or does the commission have a different a differnet view on the "spirit" of the rule. I just want clarification on the rulling before the Oroville race.
