I am running for the position of Commodore for Seattle Outboard Association. For those of you who don't know me as well as others, here is a quick bio.
I am a manager and repair technician of a musical instrument retail store and repair shop in Puyallup, WA. I oversee 9 employees and handle all day to day aspects of the business, including customer service, sales, and school district accounts. My Wife Missi and I have one child, who is 5½ years old, she still a few years to go until she can race “J”. I started racing with SOA in 1989, and my family has raced since the early 70's. During that time I have raced in the PRO, MOD, OPC, and yes even STOCK category. I have been fortunate enough to win one National High Point Championship in the Formula E Runabout class, and even spent a few years running Champ Boat with the NOMA club. I have served on the SOA Board Of Directors, been a Race Director, Chief Referee, and Inspector. My wife Missi, is a past Commodore of SOA, so I have had first hand knowledge of what goes into this position.
I know that I will be able to do a great job of leading your club, if you think so too, please vote Jason Diamond for Commodore.
