We had a small work day today and found all kinds of "fun" waiting for us. Now we are looking at a "get the home off life support and into a servicable situation" mode. Long story short, we found several wasp and hornats nests which created a wonderful incubation for dry rot. I also discovered that I made a great "pin cushion" for them little stingers too! Glad I ain't sun bathing on the beach tonight, green peace would want to pull me in saying "it beached". OK, I'll get to the point.
Next Saterday (weather permitting) we will be repairing the damaged areas of the siding and maybe on the most weather beaten parts, throwing some paint on that. So, with that, anyone wishing to contribute a Saterday to help out would be wonderful! I will still be cooking up my world famous teryaki whiskey smoke hamburgers and I just got a barbeque baked bean dish handed to me that's out of this world! Anyone having that day free and want to help out, please email me at mrbill@ipns.com so I can get a head count to make sure I bring enough grub. Jim is a very gracious man and can't believe he has guys who would stop what they were doing to help out which happened today, I'm hoping for a half dozen or more helping hands this Saterday and it will go very quickly. I also understand that the following weekend is one of the biggest races region 10 runs, so if you can't make it, it is completely understood.
Thank you all so much for your kind consideration.
